    Dear Instructors/Researchers,

    As is known, the International Journal of Assessment Tools in Education (IJATE) publishes original and intriguing articles that establish the vision of educational policies, inform pedagogical practices, and steer national and international debates on education.

    IJATE appears with a momentous special issue, which is of particular interest in classroom instructional practices and the resulting "student achievement." In this context, the overarching title of the special issue has been opted as "Classroom Assessment." Scholars are welcome to submit their manuscripts until 30 April 2022. The special issue is planned to release by September 2022. The special issue comprises the following topics under this main title.

    The special issue aims to bring together original studies that will contribute to classroom instructional practices and the development of student achievement. The authors of this special issue are expected to go beyond mere data analysis procedures and develop innovative classroom applications. More specifically, we expect the authors to share their studies that offer novel insight into classroom practices, guide innovative educational practices, propose innovative assessment tools and evaluation approaches, and find solutions to pedagogical problems that arise in class. Thus, thanks to this special issue, the classroom assessment and evaluation practices in Turkey will be discussed from a novel perspective.

    The publication language of the special issue is English. It is important to note that the articles to be published in this issue are also read by Turkish teachers and experts. For this reason, If the authors prefers, they would send their article both English and Turkish versions
